Character: Edward

yeah... so his background kinda sucks. but oh well. he was really simple to make and I think he turned out alright. but I really dislike his background.
and this is just Edward : D

Character: Aik the Dragon

so, this is my character. I drew him about a year ago. he was posted on deviantART, so I used photoshop to create a blackline for him. it was rather annoying.

and this is just Aik.

Script of Changes # 2

1. The first thing that was edited was the image size.
2. After adjusting the image size, I cleaned up the image by adjusting the levels.
3. Then I sharpened the eyes, glasses, and lips and blurred the skin to soften it.
4. After the clean up, I changed the entire image to grayscale.
5. Then I put a light brown duotone on the picture.
6. In order to put a lens flare on the picture, the image had to be changed to RGB color.
7. After changing the color mode, I put a light lens flare on the edge of the glasses.
8. When the image was finished, I selected a small border aroung the picture, feathered it to 34, and then put a black fill on it to create the rounded edge border.

Script of Changes

The main focus on the entire image was for me to bring out the eyes in a way not naturally possible.
1. I blurred the face out because there was too much detail where I didn't want there to be.
2. I darkened the levels on the eyes to make them the centre of focus.
3. Using "Quick Mask Mode" I selected just the iris' of the eyes, because when I changed the levels there was no color in the eyes.
4. I changed the contrast in the iris' and it turned out a red in one and a yellow in the other, which i decided to keep.
5. The clone tool was used to get rid of the overexposure line through the dog's head and all of the overexposured grass.
5. When I got rid of the overexposure line, it got rid of the fur edges so I used the smudge tool to re-create the fur.
6. When I thought the changes were done, I put a "Poster Edge" filter on it to out line it a bit.
7. The final step was to put a "texturizer" filter on the entire image to make it seem like it was printed on canvas.
